Choose an envelope with the dollar amount you wish to contribute from the bulletin board at the entrance of the church and place it along with a check written to “New Hope Youth” in the large manila envelope with the cowboy boot on it or mail it to the church at PO Box 138. Keep the thank you and scripture reading. The money collected will help fund the group attending the National Youth Convention in Houston Texas. The group includes Skylar Garthwaite, Annika Becker, Jeff Saether, Siri Thronson, Maggie Chrostowski, Alex Emberson and Madison Cook.

Easter Flowers

The New Hope Youth Group will be selling Easter Flowers again this year. The cost is $10 (same price as last year) for your choice of a tulip, lily, hyacinth or daffodil. Make your check to NHYG. Envelopes are in the back of each church. Please include your name, choice of flower, in which church it should be placed and if it is memory or in honor of someone, or call the church office at 523-4239. Last day to order is Sunday, March 11.

Cost:  Free will offering with 100% of proceeds to be used for the New Hope Lutheran Scholarship
New Hope Lutheran awards a scholarship that any Pecatonica graduating student who plans to attend a Lutheran college can apply for.

 Bible Study: “Thy Will Be Done”

Bring a Brown Bag Lunch

This six-week Bible Study will focus on the following themes:  God’s Will and God’s Promise, God’s Will and My Inadequacy, God’s Will and My Dreams, God’s Will and My Identity, God’s Will and My Worldview, God’s Will and My Promise.

Come and learn about how God’s Will is described in the Bible and how it intersects with our lives.


Supper from 6:00-6:30 pm

Worship and Bible Lesson from 6:30 – 7:30 pm

Following supper, we will gather for worship and hear the Bible lesson together.  Then, the younger children will be invited to explore the Bible story and Lent in a way they can understand best.  The youth and adults will continue with a more in depth learning and worship experience.
